Covid-19 | Basic Action Plan

 

Dear guests, 

 

The National Public Health Organization (EODY) and the Greek Tourism Ministry have released the health protocols that are to be applied in all the hotels of the country for the safe reopening and operation in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. 


Kindly note that no case of Covid-19 has been detected in Paros island, till now. 

 

General Information 

The hotel stays up to date following the guidelines set by the National Public Health Organization (EODY). 


A doctor will be on call, responsible to act on the instructions of EODY for testing suspected cases of Covid-19. 


All staff members are trained on the practices for proper cleaning and disinfection against the virus and they follow all the recommended hygiene rules (frequent hand washing, avoiding handshakes, physical distancing, avoiding contact of hands with eyes, nose and mouth. 


The hotel provides each staff member with personal protective equipment (masks and gloves) and daily thermal screening is mandatory for all the members of the staff. 


Staff are advised to stay home and take medical attention, notifying the hotel’s doctor, if they experience symptoms related to the disease.

 

Check In / Check Out

The reception staff are able to a) inform guests on the hotel’s rules and the new measures taken, b) provide useful information regarding health care providers (public and private hospitals and pharmacies) in the area and c) provide personal protective equipment (masks, gloves) when requested.


A medical kit which includes disposable gloves and masks, antiseptics, cleaning wipes and laser thermometer is available on the reception, upon request.


Antiseptic alcohol solution is always available on the reception desk, for customer use.


To maintain the social distancing measures (two meters distance from each another), all the furniture in public areas are arranged in such a way to keep the space open.


Queuing at reception during check-in | check-out processes is avoided as much as possible by arranging specific appointments with the guests.


Credit or debit cards are recommended for payment of hotel costs (cash will be accepted only in exceptional cases) and the invoices will to be sent by email.


All room keys are disinfected after each check out and before the next check in.


Check-out and check-in are set at 11:00 the latest and at 15:00 the earliest, respectively, to ensure the proper preparation of the room for the guests’ arrival and safe stay.


Guests are advised to park their own vehicles by themselves rather than using the hotel’s valet service.

 

Housekeeping

Meticulous cleaning as always and very particularly good room ventilation is taking place between stays.


The frequent cleaning of rooms during the stay of our guests is not recommended to reduce the contact with the housekeeping staff. The daily change of linens is also avoided and is carried out only upon the guests’ request in advance.


Shared multi-purpose items such as menus, magazines, etc. are removed from the rooms and TV and air conditioner controls have disposable covers for our guests’ protection.


The daily opening of all the rooms’ windows and doors is suggested for natural ventilation.


The a/c systems in the rooms should be used by the guests only in exceptional cases.

 

Restaurant | Bar

Social distancing measures are implemented through table spacing and guest seating. The maximum number of guests per table is 6 and the distance between tables 1,70m.


Dinner or lunch reservations at Armyra restaurant are recommended to ensure that the best service will be provided to our guests in accordance with the released health instructions.


All plates, glasses and utensils are sterilized at a temperature above 60 degrees Celsius.


All goods regarding the restaurant/bar/room service procedures are provided/withdrawn by the staff members who always wear gloves and masks.


The entrance to the kitchen area is strictly prohibited for the public.


Antiseptic solutions are available for public use in restaurant and bar areas.

 

Swimming pool | Pool area

The layout of seats on swimming pool deck (sun beds, chairs, sun loungers, etc.) is such so that the distance between the ends of the seats of two people, under two different umbrellas, will be at least 2 meters in each direction.


The sunbeds are properly disinfected with chlorine solution and the hotel guests are provided with their own towel for use at the swimming pool area. Before use, the towels are washed properly and fully sterilized at a temperature above 60 degrees Celsius by our trained laundry staff, in our own professional laundry equipment.


The swimming pool of the hotel is relatively large, so the crowding density in the pool will be more than 10sqm of water surface per person (Maximum number of guests in the pool: 15).


Tables, price lists and any other items in the pool area are regularly disinfected.


Antiseptic solutions are available for public use around the swimming pool area.
